Hey Everyone,
Well a lot has taken place since I last wrote, and I apologize for not up dating the blog since the break things have been hectic and unfortunatly Matt (Ryder) informed me that the website will be closing down shortly and as a result this will be my last blog entry. I was struggling to find a way to conclude the blog and after reading Matthew Ryders last edition of Into the Fog I have decided to take a similar approach.
The two years I have spent here have been unforgettable and it seems like yesterday I was stepping off the plane for training camp and seeing "the rock" for the first time. I quickly became accustomed to and enjoyed the local lingo and traditions of a Newfoundland family from deciphering sayings like "whatya at" to sampling Sundays "Jigg’s Dinner" Newfoundland is a place I have been extremely fortunate to call home for the past two years. The city’s unique people and unparalleled hospitality has quickly made St. John's a dream location for any junior hockey player and will be sincerely missed by every player in our locker room.
I would like to thank Matthew Ryder for all work he has put into the media aspect of the team and his work on the website. I would like to say thanks to Gonzaga high school where I have spent the last two years and met many great friends and found constant accommodation from the faculty for road trips and our unique schedule. I would personally like to thank my billets who have been unbelievable and truly made me feel part of their family. I cannot say enough about how great it has been to stay with the Martins and how having a great home to walk into every night makes living away from home that much easier. The billet program in St. John's is great as every player could vouch the same comments for their billet families, yet another reason St. John's has been so enjoyable for the entire team.
Last I would like to bring attention and a major thank you to the fans. Every die hard fan who has been there from day one it has not gone unnoticed and every season ticket holder your support is extremely appreciated. As the regular season swings to a close this by no means marks the end of the season. The team is playing great hockey as of late and there are high hopes for the playoffs and every player wishes to truly thank the fans and leave the city on a bang. Once again I would like to thank all the volunteers through the organization and all of the fans.
Thank you.

Hey,
I’m writing from the road once again, this time in Rouyn Noranda, we have a game tomorrow after dropping a 4-2 decision to Val’dor last night. Currently the team has earned points in nine of the last twelve games and are eager to try to continue to improve on our road record in the next three nights against Rouyn twice and Val’dor once. We know there will be no easy points as Rouyn is among the top teams in the league and Val’dor boasts one of the best home records in the league.

Hello Everyone,
Well we have the first fifteen games under our belts and we feel we are continuing to improve especially through our last couple games. We are currently on the road, and just finished up three games against P.E.I, Halifax, and Bathurst. We had three solid road efforts and were able to come out of the three games with three of a possible six points. We are looking forward to a good week of practices where we will prepare for three big games coming up on the weekend against P.E.I, Moncton, and St. John. The upcoming games are especially important considering how tight the the standing sit currently, all three teams are very skilled and we will need to be at our best to be successful and put some points up on the board. Looking forward to seeing everyone around the rink.
Thanks for Reading,
-Taylor MacDougall
